About Us...
David Kerr and Ryan Ladbrook were two chefs at a local restaurant who saw an opportunity to bring their restaurant quality dishes to weddings, functions and events – and they were right. In May 2006 Kerr & Ladbrook catering was born, with The Ferrybank as their base. The business was made whole with the addition of the chef’s wives; Lisa Kerr as front of house client liaison and event planner, and Jody Ladbrook with office and systems management skills.
Many of the initial clients were regular customers at the old restaurant who came back to Kerr & Ladbrook Catering to share the amazing cuisine with their friends, family and colleagues at weddings, private functions and corporate events. The business grew from there, mostly through referrals due to the quality cuisine and impeccable service.
