Te Rapa Racecourse, best known for thoroughbred racing in Hamilton, has earned a reputation around the region as a quality event venue. In the last couple of years, the Te Rapa Event Centre has undergone renovations to the existing international stand, making this the ideal spot for your next corporate function or celebration.
At the Te Rapa Event Centre, we are all about bringing your event to life; whether it is a milestone event, a workshop or a private day out at the races, we are here to help. With experience in 21st’s to 90th birthdays, Wedding ceremonies and reception and corporate seminars and workshops, we have held a wide range of events on the course.
With six unique function spaces over three levels, our event centre also offers the convenience of free on-site car parking for up to 750 cars, an on-site catering team and a central location close to a range of local accommodation options and shopping centres.
We specialise in wedding ceremonies set among the beautiful gardens and trees that surround the Te Rapa Racecourse, followed by the reception in one of our newly renovated lounges overlooking the racecourse. We are also a popular venue for birthday celebrations and corporate meetings and seminars.
